To Date or Not To Date?....That is the question!

NPayne and I have always thought it was important to spend one on one time with each of our children. Sometimes it's one parent and one child, sometimes it's one parent and two children; but however it works out....we try to spend some quality time with each child. In the summer, we take advantage of this a lot; because we don't all have to go to bed early or get up early (except NPayne who still has to go to work unfortunately). Last week, NPayne took Callahan on his father/son night out. Last night, NPayne took Addi Jo and Drew on a date night. Next week, NPayne is taking B-Nut on a date. And as far as Elli and dates with dad go....she's happy just hanging out on the bed watching baseball with him while he tickles her. While NPayne and the two big girls were on a date....the rest of us stayed home. Cal has a summer cold and hasn't been feeling well, so he was asleep on the couch. I surprised the two little girls with a date at home with yours truly! Since the two little girls are by far the girliest of the 4 girls, and since I am way too cheap practical to pay for a real spa day for myself, much less a 5 year old and 2 year old; we created our own spa evening at home. We've been known to do this before..... Elliot getting ready for some hair fixin', nail paintin', and massagin'!

Elliot and Bryna Mae before the spa began!

Elliot getting Bryna's toes all ready for the painting....she already knows that I'm not a fan of the feet!

TA-DA!!!!! Showing off their nails!!

A little silly time with mama! Have you ever seen a 2 year old who can make a better silly face? I didn't think so!

Profile picture for Facebook??? Maybe!

Nothing like sisterly love.... Thanking their mama for a great "date" night at home!

Hee Hee...love it. I am planning a spa day with my girlies and a couple of their friends at our house on the 17th. I seriously think it is so much funner at home :)
