Notice their matching (except for the color) t-shirts? Notice what it says on their matching (except for the color t-shirts)? Let me give you another hint.....
Dictionary.com defines “revolution” as a radical and pervasive change in society and the social structure or a sudden, complete or marked change in something.
“X” is the Greek letter that means Christ.
We put these two together (RevolutionX) and we get a group of youth, radically making a change in our society all in the name of Christ. We have been called to make a difference in our schools, church, community and the world by demonstrating and accepting the love of God.
Romans 8:37-39 says, “Despite all things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels can’t, and the demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (New Living Translation)
Our youth ministry provides a place where you can find REAL HOPE. REAL LIFE happens here. It’s THE REAL THING.
Well....do you know yet? Okay....another hint or two....

Matthew: 35-40
35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[f] you were doing it to me!’

Every night slept on a floor, every aching muscle is all worth it when you see a life changed or someone come to know Christ. We just returned from our youth mission trip to Norfolk, Virginia. I hope to blog about that soon. I'll be praying for them. =)
Hope Addi and NPayne have fun! I told Nathan he better not text and drive on this trip. Can't wait to hear stories and see picts!
