Dictionary.com defines “revolution” as a radical and pervasive change in society and the social structure or a sudden, complete or marked change in something.
“X” is the Greek letter that means Christ.
We put these two together (RevolutionX) and we get a group of youth, radically making a change in our society all in the name of Christ. We have been called to make a difference in our schools, church, community and the world by demonstrating and accepting the love of God.
Romans 8:37-39 says, “Despite all things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels can’t, and the demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (New Living Translation)
Our youth ministry provides a place where you can find REAL HOPE. REAL LIFE happens here. It’s THE REAL THING.

They are not in one of our cars.....


.....they are in a rented van....one of two and a UHaul that will accompany them! Now do you know? Take a gander.....a guess.....need another hint?

They are driving away from our house in a rented van....why would they need a rented van you might ask? And why are they driving away from our house in a rented van you might also ask??? Okay okay....I'll tell you....

They are driving away from our house in one of two rented vans to meet up with many other middle school students and several adult volunteers, from our church's youth group....REVOLUTION X, and heading out on a 5 day mission trip! They are not going very far....only a few hours away, BUT they will make a huge impact on the lives of many and a huge impact will be made on them. They will work hard, be completey exhausted, and sore; BUT they will be filled with the Holy Spirit....they will witness God....they will be Jesus to many....they will come back different, in a good way different, forever changed for the better and hungrier than ever to continue to be Jesus for others! They will share their faith....they will build relationships....they will worship and be lifted up....they will feel His presence....they will come back different, in a good way different, forever changed for the better and hungrier than ever to continue to be Jesus for others! Each night, they will lay their heads on their inflatable mattresses that lye on the gym floor; and they will thank GOD for a wonderful day....a life changing day....a day to be grateful for. They will rise each morning tired but refreshed and replenished and ready to serve Him by serving others! They are being the hands of Jesus....what a blessing to those who they are helping but also what a blessing to them.

Matthew: 35-40

35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[f] you were doing it to me!’
